Chocolate topping sauce
10 min
A glossy cocoa sauce — pour over ice cream, pancakes or fruit.

Ingredients
- ½ cup GoldCoast cocoa
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
Method
1. In a cold saucepan, whisk the cocoa and sugar together until any lumps disappear.
2. Add the salt and water, then heat on medium until it comes to a boil.
3. Lower the heat and stir constantly. Cook for 30 seconds and remove from heat.
4. Let it cool, then stir in the vanilla.
5. Pour into a glass jar. The sauce will be runny but will thicken as it cools.
** Keep refrigerated for up to two weeks. Warm in the microwave before serving.
